• Perform research on cellular morphogenesis in Drosophila melanogaster

• Work as a Teaching Assistant in an Introduction to Biology lab and an Introduction to Microbiology lab

Spring 2019- Spring 2021                   Lab Volunteer

• Worked in Dr. SeYeon Chung’s research lab on the cellular mechanisms behind morphogenesis

  • Work included collecting and crossing Drosophila flies, embryo fixation, and embryo imaging with Imaris software.

  • Worked on a project involving the research of the PH and DH domains of the RhoGef protein in Drosophila cells

August 2019- December 2019           Residential Assistant

• Spent the Fall semester at Herget Hall, a freshman residential building, and assisted the residents there.

• Received fire and shooter emergency training, and conflict resolution training.

  • Attended morning and afternoon rounds

  • Attended days in the clinic and observed doctor/patient interaction

  • Scrubbed in to observe surgeries such as a HIPEC, a Right Hemicolectomy, stomach removal, and a colostomy reversal.
